The Best Turkey, Turkey Chili
A richly flavored, spicy chili made with both Butterball Ground Turkey and Smoked Turkey Sausage

- 1 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

- 2 cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups chunky salsa
- 1 can (14 ounce) diced tomatoes & green chilies, undrained
Directions
Heat oil over medium heat in stockpot about 1 minute. Add ground turkey, onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook and stir about 8 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink. Stir in seasonings.
Stir in turkey sausage, black beans, salsa and canned tomatoes. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
